Beltway News features coverage of the Washington, D.C., metro area, including local, national and political news. It’s a publication of the graduate journalism students at American University, with occasional reporting from other teams, students and contributors.
Students originally created Beltway News to cover the historic 2016 presidential election. They were joined at that time by undergraduate reporting students as well, and overseen by faculty who teach Online News Production, Reporting of Public Affairs and Advanced Reporting.
