Why Jennet denied the Funko Pop Quantum theory?

One of the new characters joining Gunn’s Task Force X is Melchior’s Ratcatcher II, who controls and works with rats, and alongside fellow villains, such as Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), and King Shark (Sylvester Stallone), she will take part in a mission to shut down ‘Project Starfish’ on the fictional island Corto Maltese. As the film’s August 6 release date edges closer, its promotion has naturally amped up with a new trailer detailing more of Bloodsports’s backstory, and merchandise like Funko Pop figures of The Suicide Squad characters is rolling out. Gunn has now highlighted a new piece of merchandise for his DC film, although not for the right reasons.

Ridley Scott says the third Alien prequel would’ve answered the mystery of the Xenomorph eggs from his original sci-fi horror movie classic. Tentatively known as Alien: Awakening, the film would’ve picked up sometime between the events of Alien: Covenant and the 1979 Alien. Although not confirmed, John Logan’s script reportedly saw the surviving Engineers tracking down the android David (Michael Fassbender), in the hopes of taking revenge against him for wiping out their people.

Although it’s perhaps a little embarrassing for Splat, there have been worse merchandise mishaps over the years when compared to this understandable and rather small error of the name Cleo. Of course, Ratcatcher’s name was a mystery for many due to Gunn seemingly gender flipping the character for the film, as in the comics, Ratcatcher’s name was Otis Flannegan. Regardless of the error, those who didn’t know her name will be excited to learn more about Ratcatcher II. It appears Melchior’s character will have a big part to play in the film, with the trailer showing her having a close relationship with Elba’s Bloodsport and the fact that she’s the character Gunn is most excited for audiences to see.
